Our commitment to giving back to the community began with a 2009 initiative to serve, encourage or support people around us. We recognize the importance of community and the responsibility we have to use our resources to benefit others.
Thanksgiving Initiative: Kennedy Krieger Institute
ASBA is proud to have held a Thanksgiving giveaway at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore for many years. ASBA staff donate gifts to hospitalized children and takes time to participate in games and activities with them. Giving to Kennedy Krieger continues to be an uplifting opportunity for us and for the children, we look forward to continuing our Thanksgiving visits in the future.
“With your donations, children were able to celebrate this holiday season. It is always meaningful to our families when they find out that someone from the area took time to ship for them and give them holiday spirit. Your thoughtfulness has truly made a difference in the lives of others.” – Jaime Ball, Director of Guest Relations & volunteer Services at Kennedy Krieger Institute. www.kennedykrieger.org

American Red Cross
Early 2011 ASBA donated $2,500 to the Red Cross, whose good works reach far in assisting people in times of crisis and natural disaster. This is just one of our quarterly efforts to assist in humanitarian work across the country.
"Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the American Red Cross is empowering people to perform extraordinary acts in the face of emergencies."
